Tennessee Whiskey
Despite the fact that the product satisfies the regulatory standards for categorization as a straight bourbon, the whiskey is marketed as Tennessee whiskey rather than bourbon whiskey. There is an additional process of the whiskey being filtered through maple charcoal before being bottled, which transforms Jack Daniels into a Tennessee Whisky rather than a straight bourbon.
