Chivas Regal 12 Years 700ml

Chivas Regal 12 is smooth, rich and generous. A blend of the finest malt and grain whiskies matured for at least 12 years, that deliver luxurious honey, vanilla and ripe apple notes.

This signature 12-year-old blend embraces iconic Speyside flavours. Crisp orchard fruits, wild heather and sweet honey are the result of years of craft from Master Blenders. Over the years the classic taste has been maintained. It was created by the pioneers of blended scotch whiskey John and James Chivas in the 19th century.

First of the Chivas family to be released post-Prohibition. The bottle’s rounded shape and elevated shoulders reflect the generosity of the blend and pride as a leading Scotch whisky. The luckenbooth, a symbol of passion and love that’s also forged into the gates of the Home of Chivas, Strathisla Distillery, is printed on every bottle of Chivas Regal to represent heritage and passion for blended Scotch whisky.

Fundamental Principles

For James Chivas, there were two fundamental principles of blending: ‘old, mature stocks and a distinct Speyside accent’. Master Blender Colin Scott adheres to those same principles today, with whiskies at least 12 years old with a generous measure of Speyside malts.

Composition

Chivas Regal 12 is made from the finest malt and grains. Mainly Strathisla single malt, and Strathclyde single grain are the two culprits responsible for making the drink remarkably smooth. Distinctive Speyside flavours of crisp orchard fruits and wild heather can be found in every sip of Chivas 12, with a rich and generous taste.

Nose

An aromatic infusion of wild herbs, heather, honey and orchard fruits.

Taste

Round and creamy with a full, rich taste of honey and ripe pears, with vanilla, hazelnut and butterscotch notes.

Finish

Rich and lingering.

Colour

Radiant, warm amber.
