Glenfiddich 15 Years Single Malt exemplifies a family’s tradition of innovation. Crafted with a methodology pioneered by an in-house Malt Master, its warm, spicy flavors are transformed by the alchemy of the Solera Vat.
The whiskey is mellowed and aged in a unique Solera Vat, a massive oak tun inspired by the sherry bodegas of Spain and Portugal, after being aged in European oak sherry barrels and new oak barrels. Solera Vat, which has been half-filled with whiskey since 1998 and has never been emptied, is the result of inquiring minds and their family's pioneering spirit.
It is also how this whiskey became the first 15-year-old expression to be recognized as the top 10 best-selling single malts.
